Game Titles
This is the separate list for titles under which the game was released or is otherwise known. The titles can then be assigned to the respective game or release entries using a connection. In the first place, the assignment of titles to the game itself is necessary in order to accept a game into the database and enable searching for it. Later on, only titles will be assigned to the game that can't be assigned to a release, like short forms or abbreviations. The title assignment (to game or release) gets an explanatory comment added like
- Assignment of the title X-Wing to the first game in the X-Wing series gets the comment "Common short form of the title".
- Assigning of the title Star Wars: X-Wing - Space Combat Simulator to the initial English release of the first game in the X-Wing series gets the comment "Cover Title".
