Ultyzarus is a game collector, qhose main collection consists of the various releases of Final Fantasy games

Personal Information

Born in Sherbrooke, a city of the Quebec province of Canada, in 1983, I have grown in the rural region of Temiscamingue until I set off for college. I have studied in various fields, such as Graphic Design, 2D Animation, 3D video game art, and Translation. I currently am the father of a little girl and live in Longueuil, Quebec.

Computer and video games history

I have played video games since the NES came out, but my first experience consisted mostly of watching other people play, observing and commenting, and playing 2-player games with friends. In the end of the 1990s and early 2000s, I was playing mostly Japanses RPGs and discovered games such as Xenogears and Bushido Blade on a demo disc from o gaming magazine. I had little budget at the time, so my game collection was rather small, but I decided that I'd eventually own all the games from the developer of these games, which was Squaresoft. I now have expanded my collection to all Square / Enix titles as well, and give most of my attention to Final Fantasy releases, still continuing that teenager's dream.

Skills

As I have always scanned the covers from my games, and contributed to Moby Games, I have developed a certain affinity with cover arts, and an eye for seeing the small differences on them. My main contributions to Oregami would be releated to game collections and the different releases. I will be leaving the more academic approach to other members.
