Adding a game in MobyGames

Adding a game in MobyGames is done using a "Game Wizard" assistant with several steps, some of which are required while some are not.

This is the start of it all:

As you can see, I checked all the optional steps for the sake of this documentation.

Step 1 is the game title and platforms which looks like this:

When I confirm this data the system checks the name entered:

There is a game with a similar name in the database already, so I'm asked whether I want to add a new platform to this game instead. I don't and go to the next step:

Entering the description, nothing special here. Let's go to the next step:

This is the release data, all required data. Release date, countries the release was sold in, and company credits. When I confirm like above...

...the system helps me assigning the right companies. Next step is genre definition:

Nothing special here, just tags. In the next step, the technical information are asked for:

When done with this, the user can upload covers:

I uploaded a random picture from my harddrive, see at the bottom. Up next is screen shots:

Nothing special here, either. Upload files, describe and sort them. Step 7 asks for the categories a game shall be user-rated in:

The following step is the proof-reading. All the data are shown once more to check whether there's errors or not.

At the bottom, you can tell the MobyGames approvers that you love them. After this step you can send your submission to the approvers. If you're not satisfied with what you entered you have these options, later on:
